Yep. Nixon and Hoover had their panties bunched up over a very tiny portion of the population. "Freaking out over a handful of freaks" sums up Nixon and Hoover quite nicely.

Hippies can be defined by many things. For the purpose of this discussion let's define them as not money grubbing, not warmongering, not selfish, not violent, not aggressive, not empathy deficit disorder narcissists.

They are not responsible for the financial or environmental conditions of today.

The rest are.

The rest had decades to undo the damage caused by Nixon and Reagan.

They didn't reverse Nixon's destruction of the medical system.

They didn't reverse Nixon's re-introduction of options trading.

They didn't come up with a better idea than floating the dollar.

They didn't reverse Reagan's not taxing high income earners.

They didn't do any of that.

They got rich.

And they didn't leave anything for the rest of us.
