We noticed.

This song is dedicated to all those who have conquered and still reside atop Mount Stupid on the Dunning Kruger curve. It's been a real joy dealing with all of you daily.

Why are we so taken in by confident people?

There is a word to describe confident stupid people and that word is "confidunce". We have seen them armed with no facts whatsoever arguing against two thousand years of valid science. It's as if they're not even smart enough to know how stupid they are.

“American schoolchildren rank 25th in math and 21st in science out of the top 30 developed countries, but they ranked 1st in confidence that they outperformed everyone else.”

It seems as if the disease has successfully spread to the next generation as well.

We also have a gloriously clueless cretin in charge of the most powerful country in the world inspiring other like-minded idiots to bigger and better disasters. Comrade Bonespurs is the crowning result of decades of moron worship. He is an effect not a cause.

Most of these idiots think they should be in charge

The boardroom has been taken over by people who fear facts and seem to believe that the purpose of meetings is to demonstrate that talking loudly is a valid substitute for knowledge. Painting verbal rainbows and spinning euphemisms is more important than accomplishments and those with the gift of avoiding facts are handsomely rewarded by other like-minded morons. They attract each other like dung beetles to a large pile of rectal cylinders.

It's going to get worse

Your inability to grasp science is not a valid argument against it” - Protester's sign

There is a group of pseudo-scientists trying to prove that the Earth is flat. Their experiments keep proving that the Earth is spherical. They keep blaming their equipment. Anti-vaxxers (are these people psychopaths?) are gaining popularity, science funding is dropping and aliens are credited for creating any technology that is remotely interesting. Daily we run into people who don't know what they're talking about who can't stop talking about it.

How can anyone be anti-science in this era?

Do they not see the irony?

Why don't they all live in caves and just get out of our way?
