Hal lost its mind. Rocket Man and Major Tom were screwed. Mission control was fine.

Astronauts are the 1% of the 1%. They're flat-liners. They can fix space ships with tooth picks and socks. They're from places in America where not having common sense is grounds for immediate extradition to not practical parts of America.

Ground Control will lose it before the astronauts do.
