Boo!

In 1960 a U2 was shot down over the Soviet Union.

This pissed off the U2's designers at Plant 42 in Palmdale.

Four years later a supersonic airplane took to the skies from the Nevada desert.

Thirty two of these planes were built.

No enemy aircraft or missile ever came close to intercepting any of these planes.

In 1983 a stealth aircraft took off from the Nevada desert and was not detected by any radar system on site or in the US.

The SR71s were retired in 1998. (They still look like they're from the future)

The F117s were retired in 2008.

In 1985 an F15 shot a satellite out of orbit.

RAMJETs were tested in the 50's.

SCRAMJETs have been tested for some time now.

A supersonic intercepting missile system has already undergone extensive testing.

Somewhere in the desert an SR72 prototype waits for darkness to fall so it can fly anywhere on Earth within an hour. It is armed and dangerous.

Why are we talking about this stuff?

The news media are desperately trying to get the public worked up about North Korea and Iran.

Sure.

There was already a major bowel movement when a missile was supposedly launched by North Korea and directed at Hawaii.

It didn't and would never happen.

Seconds after anything leaves the ground in North Korea or Iran the US knows about it and starts assessing what the object is and what it can do. If the object leaves the boundary of the launching country it will be destroyed if the military feels it is a threat.

How?

By supersonic surface to air missiles launched just outside the border of the offending country, by air to air missiles launched by fighter jets, by surface to air missiles launched by the Navy, by lasers and by weapons we don't even know exist.

There are hypersonic surface to air missiles in the active inventory.

There are several waves of defensive weapons stations between any country and the US.

There are B2 bombers flying overhead invisible to radar and carrying 50,000 lbs of explosives. No self respecting psychopathic control freak dictator wants any part of the US military.

Just go ask Saddam Hussein or any top level ISIS commander what the US will do.

Any attack on the US is a suicide mission and everyone knows it.

The US will find and kill whoever is responsible regardless of how much money, people or time it will take.

The news media doesn't mention any of this.

Trump knew this would happen.

The media are currently playing the "hypothetical scenario" game where the object is to shut off the rational thinking capabilities of the audience and stir up irrational fear.
